#46 Shono (Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture) one of the Takaido 53 stations - "A sudden summer shower catches travelers on the road. Bamboo bushes are sees dimly through the rain. This picture is called one of the best depicting a rain scene. Palanquin-carriers are hurrying to a shelter. Looking at the picture, we feel as if we hear the sound of the pelting rain".

#12 Mishima (Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture) one of the Takaido 53 stations - "A morning mist shrouds the Torii, stone lanterns and fence of Mishima Shrine. Forests and houses are also enveloped in the mist, which indicates fine weather for the day. Travelers are now leaving Mishima Station, some on horseback, some by palanquin and others of foot. Mishima is an entrance to the Izu Peninsula".

"The main focus of my work is to glorify women in their purest form. I have come to admire their position in society today and their synonymity to beauty and personal self improvement. Bringing these elements together celebrates the fact that women are always in an equal position to enjoy the same legal and economic rights as men".

Richard's female depictions have sensuality and appeal akin to the golden era of the Romans and Greeks. It symbolizes the adoration for feminism and power.
